Flammenküche revisitée

  • 1 pâte brisée (shortcrust pastry)
  • Double cream
  • Allumettes (thinly sliced bacon)
  • 2 briques de fromage (two pieces of cheese)

~ By looking at the ingredients' list you may wonder: but this ain't a flemmenküche, this is more a raclette cooked as if it were a quiche! Hum..indeed it is kind of that, I wanted so baaadly to eat a flammenküche, and melted cheese, that tadaaaaaa, it gave me this wonderful dish!
The recipe is quite simple, I don't even bother to give you any quantities, it's up to your tastes (and as I loveeee melted cheese I so bad I used it as my principal ingredient :P) : put your shortcrust pastry in a mould, cover the bottom with double cream. In a pan, brown the thinly sliced bacon with white wine (we did not add onions as my best friend doesn't like that, but of course you can add some, just be careful, they must not color with the white wine!) Finally, put the bacon with its juice on the double cream, cut your two pieces of cheese in two and put them on top of the whole thing (you can as well chose sheep cheese like Lou Pérac, or something else), then put into the oven for 10-15min, thermostat 200°, it's cooked!
You can never ever be disappointed by doing such a recipe, and that's the very thing, and it's just so easy to realize! Just be careful, when it's cooked wait 5min for the cheese to solidify a little. It was sooooo delicious, exactly what I had in mind and what I wanted to eat, you should really try this recipe, I LOVE it!

Oreo Milkshake

For two persons (if you pour the drink into milkshake glasses, if not count for 4)

  • 12 oreos

The recipe is really simple, just blend the whole thing and if you want something really sweet you can add more balls of vanilla ice cream or oreos, it's up to you ;)

~ This week I wanted to try a milshake oreo recipe, this year with the girls in Tours (France) we discovered a coffee that looks like a Starbucks (we don't have Starbucks in Tours, it's rare in France, but we have coffees that look alike) and that offers any kind of milkshake or hot chocolate, and I just lost my mind when for the first time I tasted their oreo milkshake! I decided to work on a very simple recipe, but you can implement your mix with Chantilly cream, chocolate coulis, chocolate petals and/or oreos. With this heat it's really pleasant to sip this fresh and creamy mix, it's delicious!
I don't know about you, and it may be different if you are English or American since I think you have known about oreos for a long time, but for me, the first time I discovered the oreos was in  the serie 7th Heaven, yet I wasn't able yet to taste it, but it came to France later, and I really enjoyed it, especially dunked in milk, delicious ;) !
Last year and for the first time I discovered white chocolate oreos which have became my favourite ones, and chocolate oreos which I'm not really fond of, but of course you can adapt the recipe according to your tastes ;)

ps: I hope you guys had guessed what the recipe was all about ;)
